Rajasthan

Some of the subsidies available in Rajasthan State for Farmers and agrobusinesses are as follows:

  1. Subsidy for Organic Farming: To encourage organic farming practices, subsidies may be available for organic inputs, certification, and training in organic farming methods
  2. Cold Storage and Warehousing Subsidies: Subsidies or financial assistance may be provided for the construction and maintenance of cold storage units and warehouses, helping farmers store and market their produce effectively.
  3. Soil Health Card Scheme: While not a direct subsidy, the government may offer soil testing and the issuance of soil health cards to farmers to assess soil health and recommend appropriate fertilizer use.

Haryana

Some of the schemes offered by Haryana State are as follows: -

  1. Haryana Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana: This scheme provides a subsidy of 40 to 50% on the purchase of agricultural equipment, such as tractors, harvesters, threshers, and irrigation pumps
  2. Direct Seeded Rice (DSR) Scheme: This scheme provides a subsidy of ₹40,000 for the purchase of a DSR machine. DSR is a technology that helps to save water and labor in rice cultivation

Uttarakhand

Some of the schemes offered by Uttarakhand State are as follows: -

  1. National Mission on Micro Irrigation (NMMI): This scheme provides a subsidy of 50% for small and marginal farmers and 35% for others on the cost of installing drip and sprinkler irrigation systems
  2. Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY): This scheme provides a subsidy of 60% for small and marginal farmers and 50% for others on the cost of constructing water conservation and irrigation structures, such as check dams, ponds, and water harvesting systems

Maharashtra

  1. Subsidies on Seeds and Fertilizers: The Maharashtra government offers subsidies on certified seeds, quality planting material, and fertilizers to promote the adoption of improved agricultural practices.
  2. Interest Subsidy on Agricultural Loans: Farmers in Maharashtra may be eligible for interest subsidies on agricultural loans, which can reduce the cost of borrowing for agricultural purposes

Karnataka

Some of the schemes offered by Karnataka are as follows: -

  1. Raitha Siri Scheme: Farmers in Karnataka are given financial support for their harvests under this programme. Independent of the amount of their landholdings, farmers receive direct income support from the state government.
  2. The Krishi Bhagya Scheme is the government of Karnataka's main initiative to encourage micro-irrigation. In order to maximise water usage and boost crop productivity, it encourages farmers to use sprinkler and drip irrigation systems.

Tamil Nadu

Some of the schemes offered by Tamil Nadu State is as follows: -

  1. Rice Procurement Scheme (Paddy Procurement): The Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation (TNCSC) procures paddy from farmers at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) to ensure fair remuneration and food security.
  2. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Scheme: This scheme focuses on the judicious use of pesticides and promotes organic farming practices to manage pests and diseases in agriculture sustainably.

Andhra Pradesh

Some of the schemes offered by Andhra Pradesh State are as follows: -

  1. Rythu Bharosa Scheme: This scheme provides financial assistance to farmers in Andhra Pradesh. Under Rythu Bharosa, eligible farmers receive direct income support, which is typically distributed in multiple installments throughout the year.
  2. Krishna Pushkaralu: This initiative focuses on rejuvenating and conserving water resources. It includes efforts to desilt canals and reservoirs, which benefits agriculture by enhancing water availability

Telangana

Some of the schemes offered by Telangana State are as follows: -

  1. Mission Bhagiratha: While not exclusively focused on agriculture, Mission Bhagiratha aims to provide safe drinking water to rural households, which indirectly benefits agriculture by ensuring water availability for irrigation.
  2. Telangana Micro Irrigation Project (T-MIP): T-MIP encourages the adoption of micro-irrigation systems such as drip and sprinkler irrigation to conserve water and improve crop yields

Gujarat

The establishment of horticultural and floricultural units, such as polyhouses, orchards, and nurseries, are eligible for subsidies and financial aid. These subsidies seek to encourage agricultural diversification and increase income.

Madhya Pradesh

Few of the schemes offered by Madhya Pradesh is as follows: -

  1. Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyani Yojana: This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to farmers in Madhya Pradesh. Under this scheme, farmers receive direct income support in installments to improve their financial stability.
  2. Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana: This is a price support scheme that ensures farmers receive a minimum support price (MSP) for their crops. If the market price falls below the MSP, the government compensates the farmers for the difference.
